We have received a grant from the HugeTECH accelerator. Edge Scan is going onto more production lines

We have received a grant from the HugeTECH accelerator, in its sector agnostic path. Our solution was selected as a project with high potential.

What the programme is

HugeTECH runs the IDEA Global accelerator, one of 17 programmes awarded funding in the Startup Booster Poland, Smart UP competition held by PARP, the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.

IDEA Global itself is a project worth PLN 16.7 million, of which PLN 16.1 million comes from EU funds under the European Funds for a Modern Economy 2021-2027 programme. Across the whole programme, 60 startups will go through acceleration in five paths.

What we are spending the grant on

This is a big opportunity for Edge Scan, for Edge AI and above all for paving stone manufacturers. The grant has one purpose here: installing and testing the system on more production lines. We can now offer trials of the machine on more lines than ever before.

The first agreement is already signed

We have just signed an agreement to test Edge Scan with one of the largest paving stone manufacturers in Poland and Central Europe. Installation starts shortly.

Edge Scan is proven and running in production, so the trials have a specific goal: to widen the range of products we scan. The more unusual shapes, formats and surface textures that pass under our scanner, the broader the catalogue we cover at the next plant from day one.

We have room for one more line

Within the programme we can equip one more production line.

We are looking for a paving stone manufacturer who wants to see for themselves what continuous measurement is worth. In practice we need three things:

1. A vibropress line with space on the wet side, after the press.
2. Someone on the plant's side to work with us during commissioning, usually the process engineer or the production manager.
3. A few weeks of working together at the start, because the first days are about calibrating the system to your product range and your line.
